The Tikka+ is a small lamp with a Big light, a legend of a headtorch that started the lightweight LED revolution.The original ones are somewhere in the bottom of packs and still working (with a set of new batteries)
The new lamp uses 1 super bright LED and has variable light levels.It also now sports a red light so you shouldnt need to lose your night vision when you are out in the full moon. Just a note on this although it is lovely at not blinding you, it can be a nuisance when you try and use it with some maps.Look! no contour lines,Great!
