Legendary camming devices. Camalots use a twin axel design to give a greater camming range than a standard single axle device. This means that you can sometimes get away with carrying less cams to cover the same range (although they do weigh a bit more individually) and there is a better chance of the cam you take off your harness fitting first time.
New Camalots are also about 30% lighter than the old design, they also feature an open loop at the end of the stem allowing you to clip directly into the cam if necessary.
The greatest expansion range in camalots tend to come in the mid of the sizes.
