A great all rounder for walking, mountaineering and classic alpine routes.
The crampons have ten points to save weight but the front points are aggressive enough to enable them to be used for easier climbs as well.
The Irvis also has a slightly narrower frame than many other crampons making them ideal for boots in the smaller sizes (they go right down to a Euro 35) but they still adjust right up to a Euro 46.
One of the major advantages of this crampon is that the adjustment bar can be set up in either flexible or semi rigid mode- which means they can easily be adapted to fit either flexible or rigid boots- The Irvis FlexLock is suitable for use with most 3-4 season boots including:

The FlexLock binding system (pictured) features a flexible plastic cup on both the heel and toe with easily adjustable straps so they can fit on boots without a welt.
The LeverLock binding system features a flexible plastic cup on toe and a clip on the heel. These require your boots to have a heel welt.
